As most of the venues over here close during winter time, catch reports are limited, but there is news of stocking and improvements at a number of lakes. We have several new venues and more will be coming on board during the course of the year. Here is a small selection of what we have on offer, including some exciting new all-in trips. |

Domaine de Ribière
Another fantastic venue situated near Limoges, exclusive to Angling Lines. The Domaine has a number of gites in the grounds that are 3 star quality. The 25 acre lake has produced fish to 50lb plus and has received an extra stocking of fish taking the population to an impressive level. Over 5 tons of carp will have been added by the start of the season 2002. The construction of a new shower and toilet block is underway as is the installation of a snack bar at the entrance to the venue. Finally as well as the luxury accommodation on site, there is a swimming pool and sauna available to the visitors. This site will definitely be very popular in 2002. More Information?
The Roseau
As mentioned above the Roseau has pushed the boat out on stocking this year. An already well established lake that has produced 40lb fish, this latest stocking will set it up to be a superb site. The big lake is already a runs factory and with the injection of over 1 tonne of carp this winter the average size will be well up. Both self drive sessions or all inclusive trips are available for this venue.
Latest News : As well as the previously mentioned stock of carp Christophe has been fortunate enough to get a second load of carp, the averages size being mid-twenties, there were an number of fish over the 30 pound mark, with the best two fish at the Roseau going 15kg each (33lb). Horton Management venues - we also offer a booking service for the portfolio of venues run by Simon Horton, including Etang de Boux, Etang de Margot, all the lakes on the Domaine de Goncourt (Traque; Great Lake & Saule), Le Grand Patural, Vaumigny and Woods lake as well as the superb trips to Mequinenza in Spain to fish for carp and giant catfish.
Etang de Margot
A Winter session on the Etang de Margot in the Mayenne region has produced an awesome catch for two UK anglers. Liam & Craig had carp of 49lb (common); 44lb & 41lb 8oz from this prodigious big fish venue.

2x40's including a 49lb Common, 3 x 30's, 24lb sturgeon, 2 x double figure sturgeon, 16lb Koi and a little grasser
Craig:
44lb 8 oz Mirror, 2 x 30's with back up doubles and a 23 lb Sturgeon!
A superb result.

Bait
For the coming season we will be using the very successful Mainline Dream lake specials as our staple bait but will also be offering other fresh baits for the anglers traveling with us. These will include Assassin 8, Activ 8, NRG and Essential Opal. We will also have access to Nash baits for the first time. These will be available by prior order.
