Town Lake offers miles of immaculate bank side access and large carp can be found throughout its entirety. Fishing is relatively easy. Traditional European tactics are successful with 10 fish a day not unusual. 2004 saw the best fishing ever with one 10-day period producing 10 x 40's to visiting anglers! It is already being widely talked about as the new St Lawrence!

Accommodation will be arranged for you at a local hotel by A&J. You'll be provided with licenses, up to date information on the areas fishing best and how to approach them. A&J will accompany you throughout the trip, ensuring you settle in and be available during the duration of your stay to help wherever they can.

Anglers will need to bring all their tackle with them, though this is easy to do and most airlines offer generous allowances for specialist sports equipment. Night fishing is not legal on Town Lake but don't let this deter you as a day's fishing is usually more than enough to meet your appetite!

As well as the fishing Austin is famous for its night life. Known as the World's capital of live music the famous 6th Street is worth the trip on its own. Whatever your taste in entertainment or food Austin has something for you.
