You will be expertly guided by Paul Hunt who's knowledge on the carps behavior and the features of the St. Lawrence river are second to none, ensuring that you will fish from only the most productive swims on the river as well as private swims located on our property. All your swims will be pre baited for you to ensure you have the best fishing experience possible. In our immediate area we have 13 swims, which Paul has tested thoroughly and seeing as we take a maximum of eleven anglers per week there is never a shortage of top swims. Guests will be safely transported to their swims in our 12 seater air conditioned passenger van or our 27ft custom built boat. Every piece of top quality tackle is supplied to you. An average day fishing consists of 10 to 12 hours and will usually produce 6 to 12 fish per person (or more) and will take place mostly from private swims, uninhabited islands, from the boat and isolated bays of the massive St. Lawrence river.We have seen that it is not an uncommon occurrence to have up to seven anglers all playing a fish at the same time. Here is an example of how an experts choice of location and fishing method resulted in a rewarding holiday, one days catch for 5 anglers on the St. Lawrence River, they banked 23-30lbs+, 3-40lbs+ accompanied by numerous doubles & 20's. Our ability to locate the prime areas on the St. Lawrence River for our guests, assures that each angler can expect the very best from their days fishing. Guests of Canadian Carpin Holidays will have the option to fish our Commons lake as an added perk to their All-Inclusive package with us. The Commons Lake is a 10 acre lake nestled in 100 acre farm land, with seven double swims and was stocked with quality carp ranging between 25 - 45 lbs. The Commons Lake is not a pressured lake and is hired exclusively to you upon request on a daily basis. As this is a private lake there are no rod limits in place.  Not only is this lake exclusive to Canadian Carpin Holidays it is also the only lake stocked with carp in our entire area!  




Located on a large river front property the River Island Manor is perfectly situated in a prime carp fishing location.You are in the midst of the river at our venue and only a few paces away from comfortable private swims & our boat launch!  Tailored to the needs of our guests, you will find the Manor extremely inviting, stylish & spacious. Our top notch lounge is fully furnished with a pool table, dart board, poker area, CD player & satellite plasma TV  and boasts an incredible panoramic view of the St. Lawrence river, a perfect place to celebrate the days catches with a few drinks!
