General comments: Cracking fishery, which was pretty much spot on when it opened 3 years ago. Owners have obviously listened to customer feedback & now is 100% spot on! Owners are lovely, food is fab, you don’t go hungry.

General comments: A lovely well managed lake. We have fished a few lakes in France, this is one of the best. Our stay made most welcome by excellent hosts Heather & Larry, they could not be more helpful. The food was excellent, with all our needs catered for. As for the fishing, it was a bit patchy due to the changing weather. Having said that my first 4 fish were all over 30lb. Thank-you for a most enjoyable week. Brian, Alan & Peter.

General comments: Tim: Great food, good facilities, excellent fishing considering weather conditions. All beat our PB’s!! Definitely coming back next year. Mike: Overall delighted with the venue & the hospitality. Had the weather been better the fishing would have been too. Only had 4 which is a bit disappointing, but still managed a 30lb’er which made my holiday.

General comments: OWNERS COMMENTS. Saturday 1st April, Gordon & the 2 Daves arrived for their first Carp fishing visit to France late afternoon to reasonable weather, nothing much happened till 7.15pm Sunday when Dave Lodder had 2 Carp within an hour. Weather then turned really nasty with very cold north easterlys for several days plus rain & hail, some carp were feeding mornings & early evenings. Weather improved latter part of week, but with frost & -3 to -5 for 3 nights fishing was very slow. However Gordon beat his PB twice in one day the 2nd being a 35lb 12oz mirror & Dave Choules had his PB of 30lb 8oz. 11 Carp caught in all & 3 missed runs. I think for first-timers to France with the coldest start to April we have had in 3 years they did very well to bank 11 fish in these conditions. Regards, Larry.
