General comments: ADAM; fishery is superb,facilities are excellent food absolutely top notch..Lee is a great bloke very helpful, nothing too much trouble(even going in for my catfish)what can you say I did 3 personal bests, will be back THANK YOU VERY MUCH. ANDY..excellent fishing, excellent food. Lee is very helpful, lots of entertainment including visits from cats dogs and various other animals...also in bivvy entertainment supplied(contact Lee for info)all fish caught in good condition and put a good fight up....CAIMIN..only my second time carp fishing and got 2 pbs so not too bad. Conditions not ideal but a great week, the food was excellent and Lee's a gent, did all he could to help, looking forward to coming back...CRAIG..facilities excellent food A1 Lee does his upmost to make a very enjoyable holiday. Fishing was hard at times, makes you realise carp fishing is a thinking sport a good piece of advice is to listen to everything Lee says and disregard his advice at your own peril. Will be back have a few scores to settle ie 14 lost fish... thanks Craig.

General comments: Fishing was a little slow due to low water levels and hot weather. Very weedy water which made fishing a little harder. Lee was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good.

General comments: Nice lake - weed makes fishing hard but the use of the boat was a big help when it came to placing baits(my casting is not very accurate. Good relaxed atmosphere.

General comments: Had a great week, fishing was a bit slow but so what. Lee and staff are first class geezers, food was spot on and plenty of it. Thursday's bbq was very good; did not fish Thursday night - too much to eat(hic). Facilities excellent. It was the first time in France for both of us and only my third carp session ever & my new PB is now 27.4. Already looking forward to coming back. Jim: What more can I say, first fish a PB. Fishing was a bit slow but still enjoyed every minute. Can't wait to come back with a bit more experience and beat my PB again. Lee was spot on host can't fault him. To sum it up what a week, James.

General comments: Thank you Lee & staff. The week's fishing went by faster than I thought. 5 star service from the start. PB's for all of us. BBQ nite was the icing on the cake. I will be back -Stuart. A very good week, a beautiful lake, lovely people, big fish, meals delivered to your swim, what more could you ask for - we will be back. PS don't drive a bait boat after the bbq -Big Cliff. Great week's fishing on a great lake. Thanks Lee, a week to remember - Bob. Brilliant place to fish, very pretty, would recommend to anyone. Lee tells you good spots to place your baits, but watch the lake and let the fish show you, be prepared to move baits around. What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Baitwise everything worked from maggots to 20mm halibut pellet. A couple of lads fished maggot and boilie over maggot, nothing dominated.

Were you happy with them? No, the shower & toilets were not cleaned, no toilet roll available for 3 days. Bread stale, I threw away the sandwich left for me as the bread smelt. Food generally not very good, breakfast was left covered with tin foil in clubroom. Suggest this was due to the owner not being on-site (in hospital) at the time & I was the only angler to take the meal package. Two of the other anglers were very disappointed with the venue also.

General comments: Lake too small for amount of anglers (7). One side of lake only 2ft deep. Could see bottom from bank to islands. Suggest he buys a bigger lake to put these fish in.

General comments: Our fishing party in total caught 57 fish, including 1x 40, 7x 30's to 39lb & 2x cats over 30lbs, totally excellent fishing. Our hoast Lee is a top guy offering outstanding service and facilities, nothing was to much for him to ensure the trip was a success. It was also nice to see that he was keen to view every fish that we caught during our stay, (which I think kept him busy!!). To be sure I 'WILL' be back next year.

General comments: We arrived on the Monday at about 11am... so we were two days short before we started! Lee greeted us with a cup of tea and tea in hand took us for a tour around the lake, pointing out the areas he thought would produce fish. We then set up in our chosen swims, the rods went in about 3 pm and I sat back dreaming about those thirties. Well a double would be nice as my pb was 9lbs 12oz. After a few hours the first run... was it that double? After a five minute fight a 27.5 mirror lay on the mat…what a fish and a new pb! But the week got better! My next fish a 30.8 mirror, a 35.8 mirror, a 43 mirror.... seems like the Caviar and Cranberry was doing the trick!! What an amazing week…to top it on Thursday night Aaron had a 41.8 common…the most stunning fish I’ve ever seen. The facilities , lake and Lee couldn’t have been better on our first visit to France…see you next year…Keith
