What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Quest Rajha spice tight to the island, about 6 ft and boated out with a mix of chops and the onsite pellet

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Bait boat of Andrew's 4mm pellet (what there fed on) with single glugged hookbaits to the island.Sweetcorn over some pellet for the Tench.

General comments: The weather was awful - rain, snow, sleet, srtong winds, frosts, for 5 days - made the fishing very hard indeed. It was the worst weather we have had in 10 years of going to France at this time of the year. The biggest carp of the week, between the 6 of us was 34lb 130z. Only 4 30's came out all week. The banks/swims are steep, but are stepped in places onto the wooden pontoons, which become very slippery when wet or frosty. Leveling all swims out would be nice to see at this venue. The host Andrew is a top bloke and very helpful, rowing out to help with snagged fish, going to the supermarket, providing fresh water etc is no problem at all.
