What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Maize and boilies worked well on carp lake most taken from middle of lake squid fished just under surface for most cats on cat lake

Were the facilities what you expected? Better than last year thanks to caravan revamp

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: small amount of loose feed with tutti fruity or pineapple biolies

General comments: Can't recommend this venue enough had a great week. If you have never fished in france this is the one for you at times we could not get all three rods out without one of the others screaming off . Thanks angling lines and mr bigot.

General comments: We had a great week with consistent action in changeable conditions. Highly recommend the venue for small groups of anglers looking for big carp fishing in peaceful surroundings.

Brief details of your catches: 13 Fish in total including the Sturgeon at 40lb 4oz, Koi at 25lb, 2 Grass carp at 25 and 28lb 2 commons both 20's and 7 mirrors biggest of 39lb

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Quest Tiger Nut crunch boilies with small amounts of pellet and tiger nuts.Pop up tiger nuts again with pellet.You don't need to use to much bait, plus back leads or slack lines will help.

General comments: We found it quite tough going all week. The weather was quite hot with some rain. Plus some of the mirrors we're on the verge of spawning, and there we're a few fishing spawning in the margins on the far bank.Unfortunately one of our party went down with pneumonia half way through the week so spent most of the time going to the hospital in Angers to visit. The lake is perfect for small parties of 2 or 3.

Brief details of your catches: 25 Fish in total. This was made up of 18 carp, 3 tench and the sturgeon 4 times (We hooked him 7 times in all!). The average size of carp was very good. Our Carp included one forty (40lb 9oz), three thirties, ten twenties, three doubles and one single. As in previous years we caught some small carp to low doubles, roach, rudd and skimmers from the cat lake on float tackle. No catfish this year.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: The majority of our fish came to small PVA bags of pellets fished with either popped up plastic sweetcorn or Essential Baits B5 boilie hookbaits.

General comments: Unfortunately our week was marred by poor weather right up until the day before we left. This certainly affected the fishing and speaking to Laurent this has been the case at the majority of venues in the area, but it is a risk when you travel to France at this time of year. Although we didn't catch as many fish as in previous years the average size was better. It just shows what a special venue Morgane is when you have the catch of fish that we had and yet still come away a little disappointed.

Brief details of your catches: John: 2x 30s carp, 12x 20s carp, 1 9lb, and 1 tench. Wayne: 1 sturgeon 36lb, 5x 30s carp, 9x 20s carp.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: We both started with boilies with some results on Quest Liver B8 and Tiger Nut. Most fish came to 1 artificial tiger nut and 1 real tiger nut over particles.

General comments: We were very happy with the facilities, the oven could do with a grill, and a chest freezer would be good. Although the first 2 days we had heavy rain, it did not stop the action. I would highly recommend taking a bait boat to reach the far bank.

Brief details of your catches: Biggest Carp caught was 36lb, 41lb and 38lb Sturgeon, 1 x 18.8 Koi. Fish started spawning the day we arrived so not much happening for the first few days. Picked up later in the week and we had some good fishing.

General comments: Really enjoyed our stay. Laurent was sound! Weather could have been better. We got off to a slow start but once we got into the fish things picked up. Lake record achieved twice 2 x 50's. Lots of 30's and the sturgeon at 36lb 8oz. We would definitely go back! Many thanks
