Brief details of your catches: 48 fish were caught over the week, lots of 20's and a 36lb Mirror to Paul Fulcher and I had a 47lb 2oz Mirror which is a new PB's for both of us. Most fish coming to Peg 5.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Snowman Rig using Quest Baits a mixture of flavours worked. I fished Peg 5 and we found that wading out to the pads and placing the baits worked the best as no fish were being picked up mid water.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes - Toilets a right Gem.

General comments: The lake is Beautiful and Tranquil, however with a little TLC, this lake would be amazing, would'nt hesitate to return. Recommend the following to anyone going Waders/Bait Boat, the lake is max 4 1/2 Ft, so you can wade your baits across the lake. oh and a tackle barrow as you wouldnt want to drive to swim 4/5 in your car. Paul the Baliff is a really nice bloke and speaks very good english.

Brief details of your catches: we had 79 fish between us 15 doubles most fish upper 20`s six 30`s and a new PB of 45lb for myself peg 5 taking most fish

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: snow man rig was best tactic with the lake being very silty

General comments: returned again as we fished remy last september. we had 95 carp last year so both times have been great times. ive already book to fish another venue if i hadnt i would have been going back to remy.

Brief details of your catches: 21 Fish for myself and 15 for my fishing mate. The biggest fish was a 44lb Mirror then a 40lb mirror backed up with lots of 30s 20s and doubles bot commons and Mirrors. We also had Sturgeon up to 32lb Grass carp to 35lb and koi Carp up to 12lb.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: A small bed of bait dropped from the bait boat but as the week progressed we had to scatter the bait around the area and not just place a small pile of bait in one spot.

General comments: We were booked into Remy but due to the large amount of rain that had fallen the lake was unfishable as all the banks were flooded. A phone call to the owner to explain the situation had us on the way to is other lake this is where we fished for our stay, unfortunatley our holiday had to be cut short as my fishing buddies wife was rushed into hospital for an emergency operation. all in all a great week and thanks to all the staff at angling lines for ensuring that our holiday wasn't spoilt by the weather.

Brief details of your catches: 111 fish for the week. 86 from peg 5, the rest from pegs 2,3 & 4. All the fish at the other end of lake.

General comments: The approach to the venue was very muddy, it had been raining heavily before we arrived. We had a very good trip, enjoyed it very much.

Brief details of your catches: We caught 12 fish throughout the week. Started in peg 3 and caught nothing for 3 days and then moved to peg 5. Where we started picking up fish. The weather was horrific with snow and sleet and below freezing point at night. Most fish were 20s up to 26lbs.i only caught two carp on my last night and they were doubles!.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: The only place we seemed to get fish was off the reeds. We had them all on boilies snowman and pop ups.

General comments: The Lake is a lot smaller than 25 acres (I would put it at 15 acres) and as a consequence if it was fully booked pegs 1,2,3&4 share a lot of water. Fortunately we had the lake to ourselves and it is a really beautiful and tranquil place to spend some time. But I would stress that in MY opinion 10 anglers is too many for a lake that size.

Brief details of your catches: We all caught fish. I had the most with 17 carp to 44lb 8oz, including a 39lb common. Adam had 15 carp to 33lb+. Brian had 5 carp to 35lb+. Mark had 3 to low 20's.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: SAE baits, crab & oyster did the business for most of us. A few were caught on bright pop-ups over pellets & groundbait.
