Brief details of your catches: 36.12 and 26.8 Large Cat-fish lost during wendneday night.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Without doubt you require a bait boat to get multiple catches, I did not take mine and suffered the consequences. I eventually spodded a large quantity of Hemp, tigers and pellets, backed up with PVA bags filled with very oily presoaked pellets this bought me the two fish very quickly. but keeping the swim topped up without a bait boat was hard work and not as effective as the fish liked piles of bait. I witnessed fish to 29kilos all caught using the bait boat to deliver the bait package at distance.

Were the facilities what you expected? The facilities were better than expected

General comments: Michel and his team are friendly, helpful and provide an excellent service. The food and wine delivered to the swim or available in the resturant was excellent and very French with fresh produce used.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Popped up tiger nuts & bloodworm pellet shaped boilies.

Were you happy with them? Ok, pull out bed very uncomfortable in 6 berth gite.

General comments: My only moan is the lack of swim choice as we were told where we had to fish even as there were swims vacant.

Brief details of your catches: One 35lb carp. The baliff was more interested in other people. We were not told about baits which were on sale on site until Wednesday. We were also put on worst part of lake where fish were still spawning. 7 other fishermen sharing swims.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Sliding rig with popup with tigernut but you need bait boat.
