About Martyn
Howdy anglers! David has asked me to give you a short profile on myself and what
I'll be doing as part of the team… so here goes.
My Name is Martyn Bocarisa and I am currently the Director of A&J Euro Carp Sessions, running all-inclusive carp and catfish holidays to Etangs de la Croix Blanche in the Champagne region of France.
I caught the big carp bug at the age of 17 when I first saw pictures of monster carp caught from Cassien. So my longing for warmer climes and dreams of huge carp began and I’ve been travelling to Europe for 14 years since. I started with various commercially run venues and then progressed on to some of the large public waters famous to anglers from all over the world. But I’ve not only fished for these incredible creatures in France – I’ve also travelled to Belgium and Spain in my quest for monsters. |

| I’ve been running organised trips since 1999 when I started with the Croix Blanche. We’ve been extremely successful at Croix and it’s stock of carp, with the record close to 70lb is now second to none. We also ran successful trips for 2 years to Le Roseau, another Angling Lines venue. I take pride in my organisation, making sure all aspects of the trip are carefully thought through and planned down to the last detail, ensuring our customers have a successful and enjoyable holiday. |
