Brief details of your catches: Mirror carp 12lb to 39lb, 1x 12lb grass carp, 1x 16lb sturgeon.  Total number fish for the week was 36 ... but a lot were lost!

Brief details of your catches:  Local baits, light drag on bait runner.  Far bank under tree line and centre of lake.  Method feeder worked well and bread.

General comments:  Food excellent, lake in nice settings, directions excellent, going to make a visit in 2004.  There seems to be quite a few sturgeon in the small lake.

Brief details of your catches: Caught 59 fish between us - method feeder & tutti boilies.  Daytime was busy, night-time was very quiet so socials were in abundance.  All caught personal bests - catches ranged from 11 - 24lb.

Brief details of your catches:  In the margins - method feeders with trout pellet paste, hair rigged boilies, 3 - 6 inch hook lengths, size 4 - 6 hooks.

General comments:  Rats a problem after dark, we had some equipment damaged - need rat traps.  

Thanks for your feedback re the rat issue - Christophe is now aware of the rat problem and steps will be taken to rectify this.

Brief details of your catches: Caught 17 carp of which 5 were over 20lb, to 23lb.  Son caught 13 carp, including 2 at 17lb - good for a 12 year old.

Brief details of your catches:  PVA bags, method mix.  Most fish caught on boilies.  Matrix 22mm and 18mm.

General comments:  My son and I had a great week's fishing, the weather was hot with light winds.

Brief details of your catches: Average 4-6 fish per day.  1x 40.12 oz, 1x 40.08 oz (same fish again we think!), 2x 27 lb, 1x 24 lb common, lots of low twenties, 5 or 6x 15 lb carp.  Lost about 10 carp.

Brief details of your catches:  Assasinate, Dreamlake Specials, maple cream dipped fruit selection.

General comments:  Brilliant week, food cheap.  Actually came home with money to spare.

Brief details of your catches:  Grass carp to 16.5lbs, commons 17lbs and mirror to 25.5lbs.  Best individual 248lbs.  Total for 8 anglers 400lbs +.  This was in continuous rain and raised temperatures.

Hi Bridget,

Just wanted to let you know what a great week we had at Le Roseau.  Christophe & Aline were great hosts and the food was excellent.

Between the two of us we caught over 500lb of fish and we even took a 21lb common of the top on a float rod!!!

Brief details of your catches: 13 carp between 8 & 19.5 lbs.  Though the fishing was slow due to the non stop rain and high winds we really enjoyed ourselves.  We spent a lot of the time showing the French lads rigs & how to tie them which they were very grateful for.  Christophe & his wife Aline were very helpful & the food was excellent.
