Brief details of your catches: terrific fishing!! 4 of us had 1,000lb of carp. 2 x mid 40's..... 6 x 30's (couple of them high 30's).... 30 x 20's (most mid 20's)

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: 90% of fish caught on Quest Special Crab. Bottom baits fishing out to middle. Quite a lot of spod. Used method feeder for some.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes - food was good but pegs could be tidied up a bit

General comments: This is a fantastic lake. Christophe is a lovelly bloke but the site could do with a bit more general management to tidy it up a bit. Fishing was terrific though.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Trout Pellet (free offerings)11m - 28m. Pellets for hook Baits. Active 8 bollies. Dont Overfeed, Keep it simple PVA Bags

General comments: Tis trip was my first to France - celabration of my 40th Birthday. There were 9 in my party 4 on the small lake 5 on the big lake Photos to come (worth Waiting For)

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Marine halibut boilie. We fished the tree bank fishing to opposite bank (the one normally fished)

Brief details of your catches: Around 20 fish BUT ALL 30's & 40's. Biggest 48.08, 47.11 & most of rest were good thirties. Nothing less than 30lb

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Boilies along the margin up to the outlet

General comments: The week we were there the weather was atrocious - rain all week. The banks were treacherous (we fell over twice) & the owner did nothing to help us at all. It's a good job the fishing was so good or else we would have been very unhappy.

Brief details of your catches: Lots of 20's (17) & 30's (6) plus the big one at 48.04. A total of 29 carp for 759lb!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: 20mm bottom baits to stop the bream, placed in the margin around the bay of the inlet stream. All but 2 fish came from this bay. Maple 8 best bait then Tutti & Squid & Octopus. Fishing for each bite with pellet & a handfull of boilies. We went through about 80kg of bait.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes - about what I expected.

Were you happy with them? Yes. Shower was hot & clean. Even though the weather was bad it felt like luxury after the mud & slop of the small lake.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Yes. It was muudy but we'd both rather be over there in the mud than here in the sun!

Would you recommend our services to a friend? Yes - fantastic service! You will hear from us soon to book for 2007

General comments: The 48.04 was so big you could have put a saddle on it's back & ridden it home! THe tail was over a foot wide - a real donkey!

Brief details of your catches: Commons 8 to 33lb, Mirrors 13 to 37lb. Biggest fish was 48lb.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: 20mm bottom baits to stop the bream, placed in margin around the bay of inlet stream. Maple 8 best bait then tutti, squid and octopus. Fishing for each bite with pellet and handful of boilies.

General comments: Rain everyday and gale force winds. Swim turned to 3 inches of slop and very dangerous to the poiint where we did not risk night fishing. The far bank tree feature does not exist as he has cut all trees down, leaving little cover for the fish. The fishing was great and we all got P.B commons and mirrors. Despite weather, we had a fantastic time.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Small bags of tiger nuts with a single tiger on the hair.

General comments: The food was brilliant & we were made to feel very welcome. There is a lot of big fish in the lake, including a big koi which we saw swimming in the margins. All in all, a great holiday.

General comments: Lots of work has been carried out, most of it excellent, apart from the trees that had been chopped up! Small lake now has no trees, this has changed the fishing. Food, as usual, was excellent.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Scopex squid & Maple 8 boilies. Most fish came from margins on the bank between the 2 lakes (left hand side)
