Lake Rules

1. The complex is open from 1 April to 31 October inclusive. Arrival time is 10am – 12noon.
2. Four rods per angler (or three rods each for two anglers in one swim). Do not leave rods unattended. Fishing is only allowed from the designated swims.
3. Cars may be parked behind the swims, but please no excessive driving around the venue i.e. to go to the shower block. Bicycles are available for this purpose if you’d like one. Visitors must park in the car park area.
4. No braided main lines. Please use only barbless or crushed barbed hooks. No bent hooks.
5. Unhooking mats are obligatory, as is disinfectant (available at reception).
6. No carp sacks allowed - fish must be released as quickly as possible.
7. Only properly prepared & cooked particles are allowed.
8. Boats are allowed for baiting purposes (as are bait boats). If you use a boat you MUST use a life jacket. Anyone found not doing so will be asked to leave the venue.
9. Swimming is not permitted. Cutting of bankside vegetation is not permitted.
10. Please be quiet and respectful during your stay and place all your litter in bin bags.
11. Barbecues are allowed, but ashes must be placed in a bin once cooled. Do not throw the ashes on the floor and please do not light fires on the ground.

Anglers found breaking the rules will be asked to leave the venue.
